🏏 Gameplay Rules

Hit the floating START sign to begin
Ball hits your leg/wicket → OUT (Leg Hit)
A fielder catches your hit before bounce → OUT (Catch Out)
If you hit the ball and it dies inside your circle → OUT (Ball in Circle)
Step outside the circle for > 1.5 s → OUT (Stepped Out)
Hit the ball out of the stadium without bouncing → +20 points
Sweet-spot dampening — clean centre hits carry far, edges trickle
🏏 Cricket sweet spot sits lower on the blade (mid-low) · ⚾ baseball sweet spot is higher (~6″ from the barrel end)
Hit-zone indicator dot on the bat — 🟢 green sweet · 🟡 yellow mid · 🔴 red edge
Fielders don't intercept the delivery — they let you hit (or miss) first
Fielders can step into the circle for a catch
If the ball stays loose, every second = +1 to your score

🆕 What's New in v3.6

Walking-Catch fix — fielders catch the ball regardless of whether they're walking, running, or idle
Line-of-Sight clearing — any fielder standing in front of the active thrower is auto-nudged aside
No more teleporting ball — long hits fly their full physical trajectory until they land or are legitimately intercepted
Realistic bounce — ball retains noticeably more horizontal speed after each bounce (~22 % loss vs. previous ~42 %)
Larger default sweet spot — clean contact is more rewarding out of the box
Advanced Settings panel — custom difficulty, bounce override, and sweet-spot scaler
